CHAPTER 8
AFTERNOONS OFF
The Afternoons Off schedule is for the Productive Person who wants to work hard and play hard. This schedule is all about making the most of the productive juices that flow in the morning so you can do what you love in the afternoon, like:
Chill by the pool with friends
Pick up your kids from school
Hit the open road for your weekend trip
It's important to plan this schedule in advance, because it takes killer focus to squeeze 8-10 hours of work into only 6 hours. But doing so leaves you free to focus on relaxation, knowing you CRUSHED it earlier that day.
The day starts with an abbreviated morning routine so you can get to your Power Hour right away. If used correctly the Power Hour alone may be enough to knock out one of your Top 3 Priorities.
After that, it's all about turning off the outside world and dedicating Uninterrupted Action to the tasks at hand. The block of Uninterrupted Action is how the Productive Person maximizes efficiency during the limited time they have set aside for work.
Then you will take some time to do the tedious, low priority tasks you have left and wrap up the workday. When you're all finished, use a Power Lunch to get you pumped up for whatever your fun-filled afternoon may entail.
THIS SCHEDULE IS FOR...
Anyone that can stay focused on uninterrupted action to maximize results
Go-getters that like to finish early
Socialites that want to work hard & play HARDER
